nice 'n neutral

summer parties usually make me think of bright colors. in fact, i'm a big fan of them. but here's an alternative, a nice neutral. the muted palette is so calm, a nice cool down during the hot months ahead. of course i spotted a heart garland. i realize i'm slightly obsessed with garlands/bunting. this one you could use for any occasion, which i love as well. if you are throwing a party anytime soon, check out this bridal shower over at my cakies. simply gorgeous and simply simple. she can really do no wrong. this shop has sweet baby shower invitations, i featured the owl. (they're a little pricy considering i've never kept anyone's baby shower invite ever) but, i couldn't resist popping them on here for the sake of beauty. enjoy!

summer mummim'

these are a few of my picks for feeling pretty during my summer pregnancy. oddly enough, i'm looking more at new wardrobe pieces, post baby. this is our last child, so this is the last time my weight will fluctuate in this insane manner. that said, besides the pants, all of this will work post pregnancy.

fantastic that this polish has a name like stiletto red, love it. it will go beautifully with all of my mosquito bites. :)

today i'm craving a lost era. this is my grandmother in 1936, age 8. i wonder what the food tasted like. when you closed your eyes at night, what sounds did you hear. humans don't seemed to have changed much, but there sure was a lot less stuff. less chemicals, less things in your house, less instant gratification. don't get me wrong, i'm happy here with my boys in our air conditioned home, dreaming of traveling around the world with my brood. but, sometimes i can't help but be drawn to a time before the junk.
just a little rambling today. :)

ma'mood

when i looked at my etsy watch list this morning i noticed a theme. i have never been a "gold" person, never. now, all i am attracted to is gold and pink! this wedding shoot by bowsandarrows is looking lovely.

half way there.

i thought i was going to have awesome photos of the "coming of the belly". as it turns out, this is my first shot. done, like last pregnancy, with the help of my computer. it's been hard for me to wrangle girlfriends or my husband to take good pictures. i'm hoping to get at least a couple good ones before this little one arrives. but, here is my 20 weeks shot!

make room for baby

the new baby will sleep in our room for quite a bit. late night feeding are way more appealing from the comfort of our bed. that said, the two little ones are indeed going to share a room. meaning...it must get a few updates, a bit of sprucing up! these sweet crochet are on my list of maybe. i am attracted to the circular shape and the texture. etsy of course.
