inner beauty

i love the comforter, reminds me of "amelie". using chairs for bedside tables is such a wonderful idea. this is such a simple set up, cozy.

this is kind of a "nuvo-farmhouse" look to me. i love the single picture hanging by the mirror. don't we all wish our bathrooms had a touch of exposed brick!

i would love to find a small vintage chandelier for our bathroom. i want it to have a dimmer. yep, that's what i want. we'll see...

dream machine

i really hope one day we can snag one of these. so awesome. not to mention it would look amazing in the kitchen we aaaaalmost have!

bigchill

almost 4 months old!

over the past couple weeks he's acquired some new habits and drooling is one of them. he discovered his own hands are quite delicious and that the best thing about a good day is a good nights sleep.

speaking of reuse, recycle...

vintage clothes. oh etsy/ebay, i must stay away!!!

ReStore

What a great discovery! ReStore is a place to buy building materials and other goods started by Habitat for Humanity. Most of the locations hold home improvement stuff like furniture, building materials and appliances. The items are largely donated and sold to contribute Habitat for Humanity. Great idea, fantastic deals and they are EVERYWHERE! When I went to their website to find a location, I was greeted with over 40 locations in Texas alone. I'm excited to drop by and take a peek!

fingers crossed!

We think we've found a house. A little (very little) bungalow built in 1940. It's lovely and with a bit of TLC we'll make our home. We'll be able to throw a stone and hit White Rock Lake and even at the Pirro residence! Get ready for play-dates Mrs. Miller!

Now for all the cute ideas I have it would be nice to make some money. I'll be on the constant lookout for opportunities to make extra cash. In the meantime I'll be taking care of the little one and prepping for the move!

here we are.

Graham and I are here in Dallas. We are staying at my dad's house until Will and I find a house. Will and Huckleberry are in Omaha until the 29th, when we are all reunited. Graham is smiling all the time and so close to cracking up at your silly faces. All the noises he makes are freakishly adorable. Life is good, but I can't wait for all of us to be together and in our own space. The passed two weeks have not afforded me much time to surf the internets. I have missed out on so many awesome things on all the awesome blogs I follow! Time to play catch up.

i am going to burst at the seams.

i am sooo in love with my family. sitting here looking at graham my eyes light up. when i look at graham i immediately think of Will. as i'm basking in thoughts of them both, i remember the one snoring in the corner of the room. my heart swells and i am complete.

hooray for september!

besides moving back to texas in four days my husband and i are excited about a couple other things happening this month. the new season of "it's always sunny in philadelphia" is finally here!!!

also, we've been waiting over a year for "the fall" to hit bookstores. last year Will and i both read "the strain" by guillermo del toro and chuck hogan. we loved it! "the fall" is book two of a three book series about the impending doom of civilization via vampires.
