nice 'n neutral

summer parties usually make me think of bright colors. in fact, i'm a big fan of them. but here's an alternative, a nice neutral. the muted palette is so calm, a nice cool down during the hot months ahead. of course i spotted a heart garland. i realize i'm slightly obsessed with garlands/bunting. this one you could use for any occasion, which i love as well. if you are throwing a party anytime soon, check out this bridal shower over at my cakies. simply gorgeous and simply simple. she can really do no wrong. this shop has sweet baby shower invitations, i featured the owl. (they're a little pricy considering i've never kept anyone's baby shower invite ever) but, i couldn't resist popping them on here for the sake of beauty. enjoy!

some links to love!

these posts make me even more in love with love! the fantastic couple over on amandajane , decided to  feature other couples they admire. the posts are short and oh so sweet. they always make me wonder what three sentences my husband would use to describe me...
check out the blog and search "my better half" for all of the cute!

cool idea for a vintage book photo album! carlykmyta

i'm a little obsessed right now with family photos and these aren't helping! rockstardiaries AND pencilbaox

miss james gives me so much inspiration when it comes to feeding her toddler. i am always trying to keep notes to find new graham favorites! she does a recurring post named "bird food", love it. bleubird

check out nikole of herriott grace's space. under 400sqft and i'm loving every inch of it. the new issue of covet garden has it all! the article on nikole is great and she included a yummy donut recipe. i've always had a thing for her cloud cookie cutters and cake flags, but hearing about her work, long distance with her dad is heart warming.
ENJOY!

change the world

what a wonderful idea! decoupage at it's best. My favorites are the butterflies and the "adventure awaits". The marriage and birth announcement globes are also fantastic. The price tag on these beauties is a bit high. There's not a doubt in my mind that a few of you out there could make your own. check them out here

some pop!

these two kid rooms have me smiling. i am so in love with the pom poms and other suspended goodies. the clusters add such a fun touch and so easy on the eyes. a wonderful way to feature color. the storage under the window in room #1 is an idea i will for sure mimic in graham's room. the gray walls in room #2, are fantastic. they remind me of a cloudy day and how the gray skies make the green grass and trees pop!

little AND small

I've mentioned Little Bean a bunch. It's an wondrous local shop full of kiddo treasure. Somehow I don't think I've written anything about the owner's online magazine, Small. Christine Visneau and many other creative people have contributed to making this an amazing online read. The magazine is full of kiddo activities, fashion, recipes, decor, I mean the list goes on. It's no doubt worth a look!

been gone so long...

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!!!

giantdwarf

Graham has been an even more full time gig than before, so i haven't been able to sit at the computer lately. I miss my online eye candy so much! Anyway, it's Valentine's Day the prettiest holiday to me. It's all about RED and PINK, love it. Personally, it makes me think of bright girlish colors and delectable treats. Cute little cards that make you smile and a reminder to tell everyone how much you love them. I quickly scanned my favorite blogs this morning for some red and pink inspiration and found very little. Next year I will just have to make my own. But, for now, I leave you with a little V-Day, love.

i am in love with bunting, garlands, whatever you want to call them, so cute. they can be made from anything and in any color, shape or size. they just make me happy.

These decals are reproduced from their vintage wallpaper collection and printed on fabric! Found them on lilmagoolie, get them on petitcollage.

they are a perfect way to personalize a shower or party of any kind. can you tell i want to have a party? i want all my girlfriends together! i would make a flag garland made from maps to hang above our pancake party! yep, yep yep, that's what i'd do!
